Seow Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary

If you are learning Biblical Hebrew and you use C. L. Seow's A Grammar for Biblical Hebrew, then you might find this post useful. Here is a list of vocabs from Seow's book, in Hebrew alphabetical order (alphabetized by consonants, not vowels), as well as in chapter and word-type order. For those who like colors, here is a color-coded version :)

As far as I know, this list is up-to-date with Seow's book. If there are any mistakes, I apologize for any misguidance. If you want to edit this list, there are some Excel files here.

My sincere thanks to katadrew.com for the link & Lionel Windsor for the original list.

Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!

Hi, I don't agree with the last person's comment...your older posts are much more interesting than the newer ones, since you have no newer ones at all. You should think about posting more Hebrew or Greek syntax posts so we can all learn how to read!

I just stumbled upon your color-coded Hebrew vocab list. It looks great, but I was wondering if you could let me know what the colors correspond to...? Thanks much for the list!

Marcus, I apologize for not clarifying that. The color code is based on the word type (nouns, verbs, prepositions, etc). So, nouns are highlighted with a light blue color, and verbs are highlighted with a light green color, and so on. Hope this helps.
